A big bunch of blossoms to those who donated to the Green County Humane Society garage and bake sale at Monroe Auto Sales last weekend. We earned more than $2,600; the proceeds go directly to the shelter to care for cats and dogs. These sales have earned almost $27,500 over the last 51/2 years. A blossom to those who donated to the Mike Muranyi Junior Golf Foundation (MMJGF) this year. The result was 45 junior memberships (ages 8-18) for the golf and lesson program at Monroe Country Club. For many, it was a first-time introduction to golf. The foundation was also gave scholarships to two graduating Monroe seniors.
