I would like to extend two blossoms to the music departments of both the Black Hawk School for its production of "Legally Blond" and the Juda School for its production of "Once Upon a Mattress." Both schools had their performances over the weekend of Nov. 9. The music directors and the students for the two districts did a fantastic job. Both musicals were very funny. Well done, everyone, and thank you for a very enjoyable weekend. - Darlene Becker
A bouquet of blossoms to the Monroe Moose Lodge for hosting a breakfast on Nov. 4 to help raise funds so the Green County Historical Society can refurbish the stained glass windows in the museum. A blossom also goes to each of the people who attended the breakfast and to those people who bought tickets for the quilt raffle. We are all fortunate to live in such a caring and giving community. - Green County Historical Society
A big thank you and a bouquet of blossoms to the person who turned in my jacket and keys on Nov. 15. Helps to restore my faith in people to know there are still honest ones out there. - Roger Blum
The Green County Food Pantry would like to send a huge blossom to all the businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals who donate food and money during the Thanksgiving season. It was greatly appreciated as the number of people have increased greatly during October and November and I'm sure it will continue during December. We are located at 1129 17th Ave.; the mailing address is P. O. Box 15, Monroe. Again, thank you for your support. - Maynard Heins
