After reading the June 5 article in The Monroe Times, I don't know whether to give the city a blossom or a barb concerning their proposal for an automated garbage pick up. I will be attending the June 19 meeting which is what my alderman suggested because I thoroughly believe that the people who pick up our garbage are more qualified to pick up garbage at individual houses on a small scale. - La Vern Isely
