A blossom to the Green County Humane Society! >Somebody has finally figured out how to put the minutes on their Web site. Good show! Now we are waiting with bated breath for the business plan. I don't know how Paul Barrett has managed this "rudderless ship" without it. Also, a blossom for their ability to save money. They no longer have to apply for the $30,000 grant, nor do they need to participate in PetsMart Charities program that gave the shelter a couple of thousand dollars each year. Eleven people on the board and not one of them feels the need to go to PetsMart! But with the new dumping program I can see why it is no longer necessary. Also, a blossom to the GCHS Exploratory Committee >that is looking at the two biggest kill-shelters in two states and a big city shelter that is not even animal control. $6 million dollars for a shelter in Green County! Wonderful!

I would also like to give a blossom to the Monroe Times star reporter >who can twist facts and the truth any which way. He hasn't lost his touch! Too bad he is no longer reporting about the GCHS the way he used to. - Gunhild Marcher>

A big barb to the women >in the van that either parks in the crosswalk or the yellow zone outside of Abe Lincoln school. You are endangering our children due to your laziness. Either get there early like the rest of us, or walk a block or two.

Also, a barb to the Monroe Police Department >for not responding to repeated calls about this vehicle in the crosswalks. - An Upset Parent>
