To the editor,
I would like to remind everyone to get out and vote at the May 8 primary. Radio stations are indicating that May 8 is the Democratic party primary election; however, these radio stations and newspapers have not mentioned that Arthur Kohl-Riggs is running against Scott Walker as a Republican on the ballot.
Arthur Kohl-Riggs (who is running as a "progressive" Republican) stayed overnight in the rotunda of the Capitol for weeks during the protests. He was arrested on three different occasions for violating rules relating to videotaping, once in the Assembly during an open session after being asked on numerous occasions to put his video camera away. The Assembly has a "no camera" rule.
Again, I am asking everyone to vote during the primary on May 8. Do not think that, just because it's a primary, it isn't important.
I am also asking everyone to vote on June 5. This is a very important election and your vote counts.
