Candidate for Ward 2, Monroe City Council
As the April 5th election approaches, I wanted to take the opportunity to remind the residents of Ward 2 that they have a choice on the ballot this election. I am Brooke Bauman and I'm running for Ward 2 Alder in the spring election.
I am very passionate about the future of Monroe. I want all residents, current and future, to be proud of the prosperous, opportunity-filled city that the citizens of Monroe deserve. Monroe has been a great city for over 150 years, rich with history, and I look forward to being a part of the decision making that in another 150 years, people can look back at and be just as proud as I am to live here.
I am completely aware that there are issues we are facing as individuals and as a municipality. I look forward to the challenges that come with the responsibility of being on Monroe City Council and will research complex issues, as well as gathering community feedback, in order to make fair and informed decisions. Through the research of issues, and the fair and informed decisions, I will help to bring back responsible decision making the City of Monroe needs.
