A big barb to Monroe Walmart - Why do we have a new, fancy Walmart in Monroe and no one to help customers? I went to Walmart around 10 a.m. one day last week to buy a mower and some shovels. A sign at the register in lawn and garden said "Closed." So I went to Hardware - no one working there either. Next stop, paint department. No one there either. So I went to customer service and asked that someone be paged. She paged twice and no one came to help. So it was off to another store were I found employees more than willing to help. - A shopper from Brodhead.

Another blossom to all who helped at the post office sorting the food. Thank you for being so generous. - Maynard Heins

A bouquet of blossoms to the Wisconsin Cheesemaker's Association, the Foreign Type Cheesemaker's Association, the staff at Old Smokey's - especially Twitty and Diane; Maple Leaf Cheese - especially Jeff and Dee Wideman, Shirley and Megan; Brennan's; "the hardworking chefs"; the food servers; those that helped with set up and clean up; all those who donated items for the silent auction and especially everyone who attended and made this, not only a fun evening, but a successful fundraiser. If you in any way supported us that evening and we left your name off this list, we did so inadvertently. We are very grateful to you all. - Monsignor Campion and the Apostolate to the Handicapped

An HUGE blossom for the kind gentleman who stopped to help me when the axel on my car when it broke and the tire pretty much came off Friday night. So many people passed and stared but nobody except for you offered to help me. Thank you ever so much. It's nice to know that there are still some people who will lend a helping hand. - Stranded.

A big barb to the person or persons, who took a "paid for" cart of groceries at Pick 'N Save on Sunday, May 16, that didn't belong to you. Because of you, that's why food is so high priced. Did you really need them? Shame on you. - Anonymous
