Our Views page in todays edition has Xs where vote totals should be for last weeks news poll question, which was Do you think the Browntown Village Board should create an ordinance to prohibit nude dancing?

The page was started on Tuesday afternoon, and since the poll stayed online until midnight Wednesday, the final results were to be placed on the page Wednesday morning. I forgot.

So here they are, and theyre interesting:

Do you think the Browntown Village Board should create an ordinance to prohibit nude dancing?

184 people said yes.

228 people said no.

Obviously, theres no way to tell how many of those who answered the poll live in Browntown. Ultimately, it will be the people of Browntown, through their village board, who will decide whether nude dancing should be allowed at the Trailside Inn or anywhere else.

If you arent aware of the controversy in Browntown, you can read this article that was published in the Times on Feb. 21.

This weeks news poll is about the topic of yesterdays blog, Rush Limbaugh. Check it out on our home page, and also read yesterdays blog, Rush: Right or Wrong? Theres something of a start of a discussion going on there.
