I'm in agreement with Brenda: Kristy should be out. She's a cute girl, but she doesn't have the vocal talent the others do. I'm growing weary of David H. too.
I agreed with judges that Ramiele has a pretty voice, but her performance last night was Bor-ing.
Syesha choose a bad song for her. Sweet Little David A. - Brenda's right there too. He was out of his element last night. I hope he can get back on track, because the kid's got talent.
Michael Johns and Amanda both had good performances.
I'm not going to discuss Carly. I still don't think she belongs in Idol.
David Cook and Brooke scored well. I can't quite figure those two out. I wasn't crazy about either one but they're growing on me. They consistently turn out strong performances. Kudos to them for knowing what they are and sticking with it.
Same for Dreadlock Jason - I really like him. I hope he sticks around awhile.
I'd like to say the same about Amanda. She has a unique sound, but she seems to lack the same consistency.
But the standout for the night was Chickezie. He really surprised me again. His version of "She's a Woman" was fantastic! He was having fun and that made it so much fun to watch - he left me smiling and wanting to get up and dance. I never thought he would develop as he has. I don't even know the guy, but I'm so proud of him!
As an Idol newcomer, I've been surprised by the friction between Ryan and Simon. Has it always been so bad? I love a little verbal sparring, but it's almost uncomfortable at times.
And does Simon have a hearing problem? He's always turning to Paula and asking what Ryan just said. Weird.
