The Monroe Tennis Club is a newly established program created to promote youth tennis in the Monroe area. Its mission is to provide coaching, mentorship, and life skills through sport while fostering leadership, teamwork, and community engagement. The club will organize tennis practices, tournaments, and clinics and actively involve the community in supporting youth athletics.
The organization was founded by Monroe High School Head Tennis Coach Matt Bordner, with a governing board recently elected to guide the club’s growth.
“We want kids to fall in love with tennis while learning important life skills like discipline, teamwork, and confidence,” said Bordner.
“This program is about more than just tennis — it’s about giving kids a positive, healthy place to grow.”
