MONROE - The Green County Family YMCA soccer season begins May 2.
The YMCA is currently taking registrations for boys and girls, grades Kindergarten- through eighth-grade. The registration deadline is April 26.
The YMCA soccer program is guided under the assistance of the YMCA volunteers and the Middleton Yahara Soccer Club's master coach Mike Surtess.
YMCA soccer is played as "small sided" soccer with fewer players on the field to encourage more touches and more scoring.
Parents are encouraged to sign up as coaches to help guide play. Financial assistance is available. Call the YMCA for more information at 325-2003.
