LODI - Three was a major number for Sugar River at Saturday's Capitol Conference wrestling tournament.
The Raiders' prolific trio of Charles York (140 pounds), Cole Schmitt (145) and JC Francois (171) all claimed individual titles, leading to their squad's third-place finish at Saturday's tourney where host Lodi claimed its 16th consecutive conference crown.
Schmitt bounced back from his only loss this season last week to Grant Lorang of Cambridge to claim his fourth conference title, the first two coming in the Six Rivers.
ROCK VALLEY
Brodhead-Juda's 135-pound senior captain, Tyler Lincoln, took the lone Cardinals title at Saturday's Rock Valley meet.
The Cards finished up fifth overall by adding a silver medal and pair of third-place finishes.
Nick Patchen, an Albany senior, won his 160-pound ladder as the Blue Devils of Evansville-Albany claimed their second straight conference title.
SCENIC RIDGE AND RIVERS
While 160-pound senior Jake Kaempfer earned the lone Black Hawk title at Saturday's meet, the Vikings of Pecatonica-Argyle had the better overall body of work.
Kaempfer led his Warriors to an 11th-place finish out of 13 clubs with 69 points while the Vikings finished in the top half, sixth with 97.5 points.
New Lisbon ran away with the team title with 196 points in the meet that combines the Six Rivers, Scenic Bluffs and Ridge & Valley conferences.
SWAL-SWC CLASH

The Darlington sophomore took the only individual title for the Redbirds, who placed ninth out of 13 teams with 119.5 team points.
SWAL powerhouse Mineral Point edged Iowa-Grant/Highland for the team title in come-from behind fashion with 324 team points to the Panthers' 309.
