Wisconsin natives headline roster coming to SLICE

MONROE - The Dubuque Thunderbirds, currently 31-3-0-1, good for first place in the Central States Hockey League, will play an exhibition game against the Flint Jr. Generals at SLICE in Monroe Saturday, Feb. 9.

The CSHL is an amateur league with players ranging between 16 and 20 years old. Daniel Olszewski, a Janesville product, is tied for the Thunderbirds' points lead with 52 on 30 goals and 24 assists.

Defenseman Alex Gerke of Tomah has amassed 30 points as a playmaking blueliner.
