MONROE - Senior Brandon Wilson shot a 1-under-par 33 in the first boys golf match of the season at Monroe Country Club.

With the sun shining and wind blowing mildly, Mitch McArdle shot a 40, Aaron Krattiger carded a 43, and both Kyle Bruce and Garrett Voegeli each notched a 46 for Monroe.

Monroe's junior-varsity team lost to Monona Grove, 189-220.
