MONROE - The WIAA regional volleyball brackets were recently released and Monroe received a No. 4 seed in a WIAA Division 2 regional. The Cheesemakers will host fifth-seeded Brodhead Tuesday, Oct. 19.
If Monroe wins, the Cheesemakers would likely play at No. 1 seed Edgerton.
In Division 3, New Glarus received a seventh seed and will play at Lancaster. Darlington is a sixth seed and will play at Palmyra-Eagle.
Albany, the Six Rivers East Conference champions, received the No. 2 seed behind top seed Catholic Central in the Catholic Central Sectional. The Comets will host Williams Bay. Black Hawk received a third seed and will host sixth-seeded Juda. Monticello as the fifth seed will play at Faith Christian.
Argyle received a fourth seed in the Shullsburg Sectional and will host fifth-seeded Pecatonica.
