Monroe freshman Nick Bansley went 2-for-3 with a double. Senior Carter Sawdey was 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Monroe (2-7, 1-3 Badger South) will play at Darlington today before hosting Madison Edgewood on Tuesday.
"Darlington had a really good season last year and it should be nice competition for us," Huffman said. "At this time of year, it's all about getting in as many games and reps as we can."
