Kyleigh Sellnow: The junior scored 17 points in a 64-49 win over Baraboo. Sellnow hit three 3-pointers to help the Cheesemakers stay unbeaten.
Kevin Klopfenstein: The freshman at 119 pounds went 3-0 and won the Richland Center Invitational. Klopfenstein helped the Cheesemakers finish third overall.
Bryan Tordoff: The junior scored 22 points in a 45-26 win over Oregon.
Area Boys
Jacob Marty of Monticello: The senior scored 21 points in a 75-23 win over Argyle. Marty also scored 20 points in a 69-52 win over Cambridge.
Ben Schmitt of Sugar River: The senior 160-pounder went 3-0 and won the Richland Center wrestling Invitational. Schmitt defeated Belmont-Platteville sophomore Dusty Jentz, who was a state qualifier last year, for the championship.
Matt McDaniel of Darlington: The junior 140-pounder won the title at the Richland Center Invitational. McDaniel went 3-0 at the wrestling tournament. McDaniel won the championship after defeating Waukon Senior's Garrett McKenna 11-8.
Area Girls
Rachel Rygh of Black Hawk: The junior scored a game-high 20 points in a 49-32 win over Monticello.
Mariah Mohns of Brodhead: The junior scored 15 points in a 58-22 win over Beloit Turner.
Kimee Chandler of Pecatonica: The senior scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds and five steals in a 48-32 win over Argyle. She followed that up with 25 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and five assists in a 65-59 win over Juda.
