MILAN, Italy — The United States Women’s Hockey Team has improved to a perfect 3-0 record at this year’s Winter Olympics. The USA has outscored opponents 15-1 through three games, scoring five goals in each game against Czechia, Finland and Switzerland.
In the most recent win over Switzerland on February 9, USA received goals from five different players: Haley Winn, Joy Dunne, Hannah Bilka, Alex Carpenter and Caroline Harvey. Dunn, Carpenter, Harvey, Taylor Heise and Hilary Knight all were credited with assists.
Overall, 14 of Team USA’s 20 forwards or defenders have registered either a goal or an assist, including Orangeville graduate Tessa Janecke, who assisted two goals in the opener against Czechia.
