MADISON - The U-14 Rebel Mystics girls soccer team pulled out a a 3-0 road victory over the Velocity Saturday.
In the first half, play was kept mainly on the Rebels side of the field with persistent offense by Emily Benzschawel, Heather Burkhalter, Taylor Adkins and Olivia Werth, as well as defense by Samantha Ellefson, Ally Einbeck, Brynn Ritschard's, and Aspen Bader. Goalie Anna Latimer earned one save on a penalty kick.
Adkins scored the first goal on an assist by Morgan Seffrood, followed by a goal by Werth. In the second half, Seffrood took over as goalkeeper and recorded three saves. Einbeck scored the final goal for the Rebels.
