Two golfers make the cut at Wisconsin State Am

SHEBOYGAN FALLS - Two of three area golfers competing in the Wisconsin State Amateur Golf tournament made the cut after the second round Tuesday at Bull at Pinhurst Farms.

Monroe's Gary Petit shot a 71 and made the cut for Wednesday's third round. Petit is in a seven-way tie for 33rd place at seven over par.

Brodhead's Michael Oellerich shot an 81 in the second round. Ollerich is 12-over and is in an eight-way tie for 65th place.

Craig Hodgson of New Glarus didn't make the cut.
