MONROE - The New Glarus girls basketball team had three players receive postseason awards in the Capitol South Conference.
New Glarus senior Alycia Atwell was named first-team All-Capitol South. Atwell, who averaged 11.5 points per game, helped lead New Glarus (14-9, 7-3 Capitol South) to a second-place tie with Wisconsin Heights behind champion Cambridge (8-2).
New Glarus junior Anya Schween was named to the second team and sophomore Sierra Watrud earned honorable mention.
Wisconsin Heights senior Amy Jo Gilles was named player of the year. Belleville sophomore Haven Freidig was selected to the second team and Belleville junior Riley Rung was honorable mention.
