MONROE - Three YMCA Mat Rats earned medals on Saturday and Sunday.
Jack Dubach wrestled in back-to-back tournaments taking third place in the bracket for third- and fourth-graders at the Fort Atkinson Youth Wrestling Tournament on Saturday and took first place in his bracket at the Mad City Season Opener at LaFollette High School in Madison on Sunday.
Also earning medals in the Mad City Season Opener were Alex Witt, who took second place in the bracket for seventh- and eight-graders, and Gabe Witt, who took third place in the bracket for seventh- and eight-graders.
