NEW GLARUS - Three New Glarus girls basketball players received Capitol South All-Conference honors.
The Glarner Knights had two first team all-conference players in juniors Sierra Watrud and Courtney Feller. Feller was the leading scorer for the Knights, scoring 12.5 points per game, and Watrud averaged 8.4 ppg. New Glarus senior Lexi Hanson was also named honorable mention all-conference.
New Glarus (13-11, 7-3 Capitol South) finished in a second place tie in the conference with Cambridge. Marshall (9-1) was the conference champion. Cambridge's Monica Muth was the conference player of the year.
Belleville junior Haven Freidig was named second team all-conference and senior Riley Rung was named honorable mention.
