When Jon McGlocklin retired as a Milwaukee Bucks player in 1976, his friend and broadcaster Eddie Doucette had a son, Brett, who was diagnosed with cancer at age 2. McGlocklin, who was the Bucks first All-Star and played on the Bucks championship team in 1971, developed the MACC Fund and became the president.
The WBCA has been a supporter of the MACC Fund since the first boys and girls All-Star games in 1978.
