MONROE - Six Monroe Mat Rat wrestlers qualified for the 2010 Kids Folkstyle State Tournament, held March 26 and 27 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
Troy Gorr at 190 pounds and Ryan Hughes at 160 pounds will compete in the 1995 to 1996 age group.
The 1999 to 2000 age group includes Drake Ingold at 75 pounds and Hayden Arneson at 120 pounds. Colby Argall with wrestle at 66 pounds in the 2001-02 age group.
In the girls tournament, Terri Holmes will compete in the 1995-97 age group for the 93-112-pound weight class.
In the 1999-2000 age group, Cole Murray is an alternate at 78 pounds and still has hopes for chance at state.
Others competing at regionals in Sauk Prairie and Richland Center are Bodie Minder, David Andrews, Dempzy Foley, McKenzy Foley, Nich Schumacher, Parker Ingold and Logan Blum.
