CUBA CITY - Darlington senior Jason Singer tossed a three-hit shutout to lead the Redbirds to a 2-0 win over Cuba City.
Singer struck out four and walked two. Singer helped his own cause at the plate going 2-for-4 with a double. With the win, Darlington improves to 6-2, 3-1 SWAL.
The Redbirds finished with seven hits. Darlington seniuor Cole McDonald had one double.

POTOSI - Potosi's offense came alive as the Chieftains swept a doubleheader from Monticello Friday.
Potosi defeated Monticello 15-1 and 23-1. In the first game, the Ponies managed just two hits.
The Chieftains broke the second game open with a seven-run first inning. Potosi (4-2) erupted for 12 runs in the third to take a 19-0 lead.
With the losses Monticello drops to 0-9, 0-7 Six Rivers East.
