Madison Edgewood's Jessica Inman, the eventual conference champion at No. 2 singles, defeated Setterstrom in the semifinals 6-0, 6-0.
"She (Inman) is really at a level far better than any other No. 2 singles player in the conference," Monroe coach Brad Saugstad said in an email.
Setterstrom defeated Stoughton's Lydia Brekken in a third-place match 6-2, 6-3.
Brekken jumped out to a 2-01 lead against Setterstrom in the first set. Setterstrom then won five straight games to close out the set. The second set was back and forth with Setterstrom leading 4-3. Setterstrom won two straight games to close out the win.
"This was a tough match," Saugstad said. "Maggie really closed each set strongly. Maggie was placing shots very well and hitting some very nice angles during the match."
