MONROE - The Cheese-makers devoured Stoughton in straight sets across the board on its way to a 7-0 sweep.

It was Monroe's Senior Night.

Kristin McArdle knocked off Sarah Luhn 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1 singles.

Ellie Shuda dropped Amanda Rames 6-1, 6-3 in No. 2 singles.

McKenzie Bruce made her return to the court after injuring her knee early in the season and held off Katie Evans 6-0, 6-4 in the No. 3 singles. Kiera Berger dominated Katherin Ulrich 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 4 singles.

After taking over Bruce's place the last few weeks as the No. 3 player, Berger faced better competition that has made her an even stronger player.

As for the doubles matchups, the only seniors on the varsity squad, Pam Lehman and Melissa Hill, shut out Jordan Vieth and Mara Ferguson, their Viking counterparts, 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 doubles play.

Ashley Hermanson and Gwen Sutter continued to impress at No. 2 doubles, winning 6-0, 6-2 over Ericka Kind and Bree Valenza.

Kelsey Erickson and Taylor Weis held off Kristin Knapton and Zia Bauer in No. 3 doubles match 6-2, 6-0 to complete the team sweep.
