The WIAA has released the seedings for the boys basketball regional playoffs.

Monroe (15-5) earned the top seed in its Division 2 regional. Mount Horeb (9-11) is the second seed, Brodhead (12-8) third, Evansville (10-10) fourth, Platteville (10-10) fifth, Edgerton (8-12) sixth and Dodgeville (8-12) seventh.

Monroe receives a first-round bye and will not play until Thursday, March 4, and will play the winner of the Evansville-Platteville game.

Brodhead will host Edgerton March 2. The regional final will be held at 1 p.m., March 6, in Verona.

River Valley (16-4) is the other top seed in the sectional.

In Division 3, Darlington (18-2) earned a No. 3 seed and will host sixth-seeded New Glarus (11-9) March 2. The two teams met Feb. 2 with New Glarus knocking off the Redbirds 72-57. Undefeated Cuba City (21-0) earned the top seed in the regional and Wisconsin Heights (17-2), winner of the Capitol South, will be the No. 2 seed. Fourth-seeded Belleville (13-7) hosts Orfordville Parkview (14-7) in the fourth-fifth seed game at Belleville. Heights will host Lancaster (7-13) and Cuba City will host Mineral Point (5-15). The regional final will be held at 7 p.m., March 6, at Monroe High School.

Monticello (16-3) earned the No. 2 seed in its regional. The Ponies will host seventh-seeded Juda (7-13) March 2. Albany (7-13) will travel to No. 3 seed Williams Bay. Racine Lutheran (17-3) is the top seed in the Edgerton Regional. The regional final will be played at 1:30 p.m. March 6.

In the Darlington Regional, Benton (17-4) is the top seed and will host No. 8 Argyle (1-19).

Sixth-seeded Black Hawk (7-13) travels to Southwestern (10-10) and will play for the right to square off against the Barneveld-Madison Abundant Life winner. Barneveld (16-4) is poised to finish with at least a share of the Six Rivers East title. Pecatonica (11-9) will host Shullsburg (8-12).

The Darlington Regional final game will be played at 1:30 p.m. March 6.
