MONROE - The Monrole Rebels U10 girls soccer team lost to Sauk Prairie 6-2 on Saturday, Sept. 24.
Monroe trailed 4-1 at the half. Alexa Bader scored the lone goal for the Rebels.
Megan Benzshawel had 10 saves as goal keeper and Maggie Curtis had one.
Monroe got strong shots on goal from Cassie Gersbach, Anika Einbeck and Benzschawel.
Monroe had a strong push in the second half with Maddison Markham scoring on a solo drive from one end of the field to the other. Einbeck had three shots on goal in the second half and Benzschawel had two.
Gersbach had four saves in the second half as goalie and Amy Weuthrich had one.
Monroe will play at home on Saturday.
