MADISON - The Rock County Fury girls hockey co-op skated to a 6-1 win over Middleton in a WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal Tuesday at the Madison Ice Arena.
The third-seeded Fury advance to play top-seeded Sun Prairie in a sectional championship game at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sun Prairie Ice. With one more win, the Fury (16-7) would make their second straight trip to the state tournament.
The Fury finished third in the Badger Conference with a 6-3 mark, two games behind Middleton (7-1), which was second in the conference behind champion Sun Prairie.
Monroe High School sophomore Cammi Ganshert is a member of the Fury and has four assists this season.
