MONROE - The Green County Family YMCA is accepting registrations for second- and third-grade boys and girls basketball until Sunday, Jan. 3.
The league begins play on Saturday, Jan. 9.
Players interested should register by Sunday in order to be placed on a team for the six-week season.
All volunteer coaches should come to the league organizational meeting on Monday, Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. at the YMCA.
Games are played at Northside School with baskets lowered to enhance scoring and shooting form.
The league is based on equal play, fundamentals, fun and sportsmanship.
