DARLINGTON - Senior running back Kameron Blosch rushed for 216 yards on 12 carries and had four total touchdowns to power the Redbirds to a 40-6 win over Boscobel Friday.

With its fourth straight win, Darlington (4-5) clinched a playoff berth. The Redbirds lost five consecutive games to start the season, but reversed their fate the second half.

"I'm very proud of the kids," Darlington coach Scott Zywicki said. "It would have been easy to just give up after we lost our first five games and didn't play like we were capable of playing. It would have been easy to doubt ourselves and our system. In the second half, we have been playing excellent football the last four weeks."
