BOSCOBEL - The Darlington boys basketball team stayed unbeaten rolling to a 58-37 win over Boscobel Thursday.
The Redbirds used a 20-8 second quarter run to open up an 11-point lead at the half.
Darlington sophomore Chad Golackson scored a game-high 13 points. With the win, Darlington improves to 6-0, 3-0 SWAL. Darlington senior Cole McDonald and sophomore Hunter Johnson each added 11 points.
McFarland 59, Brodhead 32
MCFARLAND - Sean Chislom scored a game-high 24 points to power McFarland to a 59-32 win over Brodhead Thursday.
McFarland (3-1) jumped out to an 11-4 lead in the first quarter. However, the Cardinals battled back to cut it to a 10-point deficit at halftime. The Spartans put the game away outscoring the Cardinals 21-5 in the fourth quarter.
Brodhead senior Josiah DeLorme scored a team-high nine points. Junior teammate Ned Slocum added five points. With the loss, Brodhead drops to 1-4, 1-2 Rock Valley South Conference.
