PLATTEVILLE - Both the Redbirds' boys and girls teams finished in second place to Platteville at the Platteville Relays Thursday night.
On the girls side, Hana Miehe won the 3,200 meter run with a time of 12 minutes, 58.36 seconds, beating teammate Amy Jorgenson by seven seconds.
Darlington's 400, 1,600, and 3,200 relay teams won, with the 400 team finishing just 1/100th of a second ahead of Platteville with a time of 53.68.
On the boys side, Braden Zywicki won the 110 high hurdles by 1/100th of a second over Platteville's Jordan Federick with a time of 17.18.
The Redbirds' 400 relay team took top honors as did Bruce King in the high jump. King was the only jumper to reach six feet.
Jeff Reichling won both the shot put (53-9) and the discus (150-4).
