MONROE — The Monroe Parks & Recreation Department will be holding “Yoga in the Park” outdoor session starting from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4 at the Twining Park bandshell.
Instructor Shannan Kaiser will lead the program for anyone from fourth grade to adult and will help develop greater body awareness while reducing stress.
The group will meet the first Saturday of each month until Oct. 5. There will be stretching, breathing, yoga postures, relaxing and having fun.
Register by contacting the Parks & Recreation office by Friday, May 3 or pay that day. Not recommended for pregnant women. Participants under 16 need to register with an adult. Bring a mat. Call the office with question at 608-329-2460.
