WHITEWATER — Madilyn Brown from Brodhead, who is studying Biology Science Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk women’s track and field team for the 2026 season. Jack Erickson, a sophomore from Belleville, and senior Rhett Reuter of Darlington, are on the boys roster.
The Warhawks finished fifth in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference at both the indoor and outdoor championship meets in 2025. The team placed 56th at the NCAA Indoor Championships and tied for 22nd at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Head coach Mike Johnson enters his 15th season leading the women’s program. The Warhawk women have finished among the top 10 at four national meets (two indoor, two outdoor) during Johnson’s tenure.
The Warhawks began the 2026 season Jan. 17 at Carthage’s Firebird First Invitational. The team competes in its first regular season home meet of the season on Saturday, Jan. 24 — the Karl Schlender Invitational at Kachel Fieldhouse. For the full 2026 schedule, visit uwwsports.com.

Erickson is listed as a Hurdles competitor. Reuter is a middle-distance runner.
Brandon Miles, a 2007 Monroe graduate, is an assistant middle-distance coach for the Warhawks.
