WHITEWATER — Abbie Dix, a Human Performance major at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from Brodhead, WI, was one of 42 student-athletes selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s All-America teams for NCAA Division III women’s volleyball.
Dix, a junior, is the nation’s top blocker for the second consecutive season with 164 total blocks-an average of 1.44 per set. She also ranks among the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s top attackers with 327 kills and 434 points. A 2024 All-WIAC and First Team AVCA All-Region selection, she was recently named to the 2025 NCAA Bloomington Regional All-Tournament Team. With 437 career blocks, Dix is ranked sixth in the UWW record book.
Being named to the AVCA All-America team is a prestigious honor that recognizes not only outstanding athletic performance but also dedication, consistency, and impact on the court. Dix’s remarkable combination of defensive and offensive skill, and leadership on the court set her apart, making her a standout candidate for this national recognition.
