MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Monroe graduate Isaac Bunker, a junior offensive guard for Navy, played in the Jan. 2 Liberty Bowl at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis, Tenn. Navy defeated Cincinnati 35-13 thanks to a dominating second half. The Midshipmen outscored the Bearcats 21-6 in the third and fourth quarters to capture the Liberty Bell Trophy.
Bunker has worked his way up the depth chart this season to a role on the special teams units.
Navy finished the season with a 10-2 overall record.
