MONROE - All good things must come to an end.

Monroe's Rebel U10 Magic team hosted the McFarland Cougars on Tuesday and suffered its first regular-season loss since the team's 2006 inception. After taking a 1-1 lead into the half, McFarland came back in the second with goals on back-to-back shots to pull ahead 3-1. Hunter Weckerly fired in another to only leave Monroe down by one but, after regaining the lead near the final whistle, McFarland pulled out a victory.
