Rebel Mystics shut down Janesville

The U-14 Rebel Mystics finished the season with a 6-0 shut out in Janesville on Saturday.

Monroe's first goal was scored by Taylor Adkins in the middle of the first half. Anna Latimer was goalkeeper for the first half and had two saves.

The second half the Rebels came alive with goals by Olivia Werth, one by Emily Benzschawel on an assist by meier to give the Mystics a 3-0 lead.

Adkins scored her second gaol and Benzschawel scored her second goal of the game on an assist by Ritschard. The final goal of the season was scored by Heather Burkhalter to secure the victory.

Morgan Seffrood was goalie the second half and had three saves and Benzschawel had one save.

Tough defense by Aspen Bader, Ally Einbeck, Kennedy Ludwig, Latimer and Aurora Daniels and offensive help by Lauren Hlubeck, Dani Larraga, Ritschard and Seffrood kept Janesville scoreless. The Mystics finished the fall season 5-1-1.
