SOUTH WAYNE - Black Hawk junior Tatum Jackson scored on a drive to the basket with one second to go.

Black Hawk coach Mike Flanagan called a timeout to set up a press to get a potential steal. Randolph was able to in-bound the ball and survived knocking off the Warriors in a nail-biter 42-40 Saturday. With the loss, Black Hawk drops to 4-12, 3-5 Six Rivers East.

"With 1 second left, we really needed a miracle," Flanagan said. "We tried to get a steal, but they inbounded the ball and killed the clock."

Black Hawk junior Aleigha Sigafus scored a game-high 18 points. The Warriors had good balance. Jackson added 10 points and freshman Hannah Herbst chipped in eight points.

Randolph was led by Morgan Paul who scored a team-high 15 points and Brooke Roberts who had 12 points.

Randolph was 12 of 19 from the free throw line compared to the Warriors who were 4 of 6.

"It's kind of what has hurt us in a lot of games of late," Flanagan said of the Rockets' edge from the free throw line.
