OCONOMOWOC - The Sugar River wrestling team faced an early test at the Cooney dual tournament Saturday.
The Raiders finished 10th after losing all five of the team's dual matches. Janesville Craig defeated Sugar River 57-13. The Raiders lost to Wilmot 71-9 and Arrowhead 69-12. DeForest, a Badger North Conference wrestling power, beat the Raiders 75-0 and Baraboo defeated the Raiders 54-15.
Sugar River junior Mike Nolden at 171 pounds went 4-1 at the tournament to lead the Raiders. Senior Danny Nolden (152) went 3-2.
