WATERTOWN - Every time Sugar River scored in the first half Monday at Watertown Luther Prep, the Phoenix had an answer.

Not so in the second half.

The Raiders came out of a 2-2 halftime tie and dominated the second half of a 4-2 victory on Tuesday. Sugar River didn't have anything to show for it, however, until the 70th minute, when Kyle Roth scored unassisted. Five minutes later, Otto Kienitz found the back of the net.

The first half was much more even. Sugar River got on the board first when Dylan Bigler scored in the 21st minute off an assist from Jon Fox. Luther Prep responded with its first goal about two minutes later.

The teams traded goals again later in the first half. Fox scored at 33 minutes and the Phoenix tied the score at 2-2 in the 36th minute.

Sugar River travels to Middleton on Friday for a tournament. Game time is to be determined.
