BELLEVILLE - Sugar River won another blowout game of the year in girls soccer, with a 9-0 score against Dodgeville in non-conference action.
Katie Viney opened the scoring for Sugar River, taking an assist from Trisha Boley and putting it past the goalie just 6 minutes, 24 seconds into the game. Hannah Kernen scored 2 1/2 minutes later to make it 2-0, and Maci Watrud scored in the 16th minute to put the contest into route-mode.
Shelby Hubbard scored in the 20th minute to make it 4-0 and Kernen again at 26:40. Just 16 seconds after Kernen's second goal, Viney scored her second to make it 6-0 Raiders. Boley scored the last goal of the first half in the 33rd minute.
Natalie Manion, who starts as goalkeeper, scored in the 63rd minute and Hubbard added her second goal in the 70th minute.
