Raiders capture invite title

BELLEVILLE - Sugar River junior Brooke Larson scored three goals for a hat trick to lead the Raiders to a 10-0 win over Dodgeville-Mineral Point Saturday.

The Raiders also beat Stoughton 3-1 to win the Sugar River Invite Saturday.

In the game against Dodgeville-Mineral Point, Sugar River senior Breanne Kreklow and junior Taylor Legler each added two goals for the Raiders which improve to 3-1.

Kreklow scored the first goal unassisted at 2 minutes, 14 seconds. Legler then scored a goal on an assist from Kreklow at 13:55. About 1 minute later, Vanessa Narveson scored a goal on a pass from Larson to give the Raiders a 3-0 lead.

Larson scored her first goal at 14:45 and Kreklow scored her second goal at 15:37 to give the Raiders a 5-0 lead. Larson scored two goals in less than 1:30 to give the Raiders a 7-0 lead.

Hannah Donlin and junior Nicole Sanders also added first-half goals for the Raiders in the victory.

Sanders scored two goals to lead the Raiders to a win over Stoughton. Legler scored the first goal on an assist from Kendall Goecke at 1:35. Sanders then added two first half goals to give the Raiders a 3-0 lead at the half.

Sugar River goalkeeper Paige Natzke had three saves.
