NEW GLARUS - A 16-2 run in the third quarter by Poynette helped the Pumas top New Glarus 64-52 in Capitol Conference boys basketball Tuesday.

Poynette's Cody Odegaard scored 22 of his game-high 24 points in the second half to turn back the Glarner Knights.

Senior Ryan Bright scored 16 points while senior Cameron Jeglum added 10 for the Knights.

New Glarus (2-4 Capitol South, 8-4 overall) will host Cambridge Tuesday.
