SOUTH WAYNE - Black Hawk junior Colby Argall rushed for 264 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a 50-0 win over Benton-Scales Mound (Ill). Friday.

Black Hawk (6-0, 4-0 Six Rivers), ranked No. 4 in the Associated Press small school division state poll, gashed the Zephyrs for 595 total yards with 538 coming on the ground.

"Benton-Scales Mound kind of gambled a little bit," Black Hawk coach Cory Milz said. "They left one side pretty vulnerable. Colby made them pay for that. He made some cutbacks at the linebacker level and did a good job in the open field. Our line picked up the pace a little bit in the second half."

With the win, the Warriors clinch a playoff spot. However, Black Hawk is looking to win the conference championship, and they took another step toward that goal.

"To be unblemished at this point, we feel like we have a good chance to win out and win the conference," Milz said. "We will have a challenge next week against River Ridge."

Black Hawk senior Brody Milz rushed for 114 yards on 11 carries and scored one touchdown. Senior quarterback Michael Flanagan was 4-of-5 passing for 57 yards. Senior Jett Rufenacht had two receptions for 17 yards.

Darlington 15, Cambridge 13

CAMBRIDGE - Darlington junior quarterback Blake Whalen scrambled and connected with Grady Rielly on a 28-yard game-winning touchdown pass with 1 minute, 17 seconds to go to give the Redbirds a thrilling 15-13 win over Cambridge.

Darlington (1-5) has lost two games by one point and four games by a combined 13 points. After the Blue Jays scored a touchdown to take a short-lived 13-9 lead, the Redbirds answered.

"We have lost a lot of close games this year," Darlington coach Scott Zywicki said. "When they scored it would have been easy to get disappointed and say, 'Here we go again.' They didn't do that. They came back and made a really big play on a third-and-14 on a screen play. Grady Rielly then caught the pass right before the end zone and fought his way in. I was really proud of the effort of the team."
