BANGOR - Pecatonica-Argyle junior Josie Penniston won a title in the 400 (58.52) and took second in the 200 (26.53) at the Bangor track and field sectional Thursday to qualify for the WIAA Division 3 state track meet in both events. The top four competitors in each event advance to the WIAA state championship June 3-4 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Darlington girls track team qualified its 400, 800 and 3,200 relay teams for state.
