PeeWee B ties with Dodgeville, falls to Madison

MONROE - The Pee Wee B Avalanche team tied the Dodgeville Ice Wolves 3-3 on Dec. 6 and lost to the Madison Patriots 8-3 on Sunday.

Against the Ice Wolves, the Monroe Avalanche scored on a goal by Luke Kuberski on an assist from Jared Dillon. In the second period the Avalanche scored on a pass from Rebekah Rath to Kaiden Klitzke to tie the game. Bryce Montgomery scored to tie the game 3-3 to close out the second period. Monroe out-shot the Ice Wolves 33-16. Avalanche goalie Aiden Runkle had 13 saves.

On Sunday, the Madison Patriots scored five unanswered goals in the first period. The first goal for the Avalanche came from Ruger Hansen to make it 5-1. Then Luke Kuberski lit the lamp to close the gap at 5-2. In the third period, Kuberski found Rob Schroeder to give the Avalanche their third and final goal of the game.

The Pee Wee B team (4-1-5) will take on Janesville B in Janesville at 3:35 p.m. Sunday.
